What is MN50501-Rochester?
Minnesota 50501 is a grassroots movement dedicated to defending democracy, fighting against authoritarianism, and organizing for progressive change. We provide a space for activists to collaborate, share resources, and mobilize for direct action across Minnesota. Whether you’re looking for protest information, community organizing efforts, or ways to get involved, we’re here to connect and empower you. We want to help people learn effective tactics of resistance and get comfortable using them!
MN50501-Rochester represents the Rochester area team of Minnesota 50501. We organize independently, but coordinate closely with state initiatives to increase the visibility and impact of our actions.

Our Organizers
We are a group of local residents working to protect our communities. We are scientists, students, artists, medical professionals, salespeople, mothers, fathers, partners, daughters and sons. We are a diverse group of volunteers, but united in our commitment to fight back against the assaults on our democracy and basic rights.
We are fighting for a better future, and we need your help. Maybe you want to get heavily involved and help plan our actions, or maybe volunteering at occasional events is more your speed. Maybe you don’t want to volunteer — but you do want to be updated when we have planned actions. There is room for all levels of involvement with us.
